Hello

Concern but not panic. The challenges created by the urgent need for preparedness, response, and recovery in the face of a threatened pandemic will require crisis management strategies beyond any utilized to date. Experts have predicted that the negative ramifications triggered by the psychological implications of isolation, panic, loss of routine, grief, etc. could exceed those of the disease itself. Employers will benefit by providing employees with access to physical resources, pertinent information, structure, connectivity, the means to be productive, and emotional support.
Crisis Care Network has been continuously monitoring developments regarding the outbreak of H1N1 influenza (Swine Flu). Whereas at this time we do not know the scope or impact of this illness, we need to be prepared for any and all possibilities. In keeping with our Pandemic Response Protocols CCN has taken the following actions:

  • Exercised tactical adjustments to our Disaster Response Plan Guidelines to outline multiple contingency plans as indicated.
  • Placed CCN staff and auxiliary staff on readiness alert status.
  • Reviewed existing Flu protection and containment policies and practices with all CCN personnel to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Thoroughly assessed CCN capabilities to deliver essential services remotely in the event of a regional quarantine.
  • Communicated proactively with customers to assess exposure and coordinate planning efforts.
  • Adjusted internal and external communication planning.
  • Engaged CCN Leadership Team and external strategic partners in exploring alternative ways to deliver psychological first aid (i.e. telephonic, web-based, etc.) should direct on site services be counter-indicated.
  • Increased technological and communication capabilities to enhance data management.
Our goal is to provide you with solid information regarding Crisis Care Network's readiness and assure you of our commitment to deliver calm in the midst of crisis, regardless of the event. Fear of the unknown can be devastating to the operation of any business or organization. As this situation unfolds we will continue to offer support, resources, and strategies to empower leadership at all levels. Thank you for honoring us as your proven, trusted partner.
